The syllabus for the "E-Certification" sponsored by the Japan Deep Learning Association (JDLA) will be revised starting with the August 2022 examination (2022#2).

In response to the syllabus revision, AVILEN Corporation announces that it has decided on a policy regarding the provision of this course and the support and materials viewing period for customers who have applied for the "E-Certification Course for All Mankind" to be compatible with the new syllabus.

The Japan Deep Learning Association (JDLA) has announced a revised syllabus that will be effective from the August 2022 (2022#2) E certification exam.

In accordance with the revised syllabus, AVILEN plans to start offering an "E-Certification Course for All Mankind" on February 1, 2022, which will be compatible with the new syllabus.

AVILEN will offer a special course for the new syllabus to students who enroll from July 2019 to January 2022. Offerings vary depending on the month of enrollment.

There is no difference in course content between Type A and Type B.

Details of updates due to syllabus revision

Items added in the new syllabus will be added to the lecture content. Please note that the content of the course is subject to change after careful examination in order to make the course easier to understand.

Please note that some of the completion requirements that have been passed in the current syllabus course will also need to be passed additionally.

Summary of Points to Consider in Revising the Syllabus

Please note the following

• If you are taking the E-Certification February 2022 (2022#1), you may qualify by completing the current course.
• If you are taking the E-Certification August 2022 (2022#2) exam, you will qualify by completing a course that corresponds to the revised syllabus.
• If a certificate of completion for a JDLA-accredited program issued prior to the February 2022 (2022#1) examination is still valid, the certificate may be used to qualify for the E-Certification August 2022 (2022#2) examination. However, it is strongly recommended to study the content of the syllabus difference, as the syllabus has been significantly changed.
• The optional basic course set is not eligible for extended support and video viewing.

The E-Certification will remain in effect regardless of whether the current or new syllabus is used.

※Although the syllabus has been revised in the past, it has the same effect as the E-qualifier of the current syllabus.
