AVILEN Corporation (AVILEN), a company engaged in the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, human resource development, and AI-specific media, acquired ISO/IEC 27001:2013 (JIS Q 27001:2014) certification, an international standard for information security management systems (ISMS), on May 11, 2020. The certification is effective as of May 11, 2020.

The international standard "ISO/IEC 27001:2013 (JIS Q 27001:2014)" is an international standard of BSI (British Standards Institution).BSI is a management system certification and registration organization that is highly regarded and widely recognized worldwide, and has been accredited by approximately 20 organizations.

Information Security Management System (ISMS) is a framework for organizations to manage information security. Information security management is the formulation and proper operation of an ISMS; the goal of an ISMS is to maintain the "confidentiality," "integrity," and "availability" of information by applying risk management processes and to provide stakeholders with confidence that risks are properly managed.

This certification proves that AVILEN has properly implemented its information security management process, maintained and improved the balance between confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information, and appropriately managed risks. ISMS Secretariat to further strengthen appropriate risk management.

AVILEN has established processes to properly manage information such as customer information, source code, and data for artificial intelligence (AI) product development and AI personnel training. The management of data used is extremely important, and in developing AI models, we operate customer data with the utmost care under a highly reliable management system.
